Surrey Aquanauts, is a Woking, Surrey, based Scuba Diving Club and is one of the 1600 or so branches of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) dive club. These branches are mainly in the UK, but can also be found throughout the world. With a membership of in excess of 55,000, BSAC is the largest diving club in the world.
Surrey Aquanauts has been in existence as a dive club since 1967, and as a BSAC club since 1974. We have trained hundreds and hundreds of divers throughout this time, and we offer a friendly, competent and safety-oriented approach to scuba dive training. We also have a programme of dive trips in both the UK (hard boat diving and diving from our own rib!) and abroad.
We have a diverse membership, male and female, from all walks of life and most main strands of UK diving; and you will find enthusiasts of scenic scuba diving rubbing shoulders with dedicated ‘wreckies’.
As well as being able to boast a diverse scuba dive program, we offer a number of social events. With annual balls, meals, BBQ’s, outings and guest speakers, our dive club doesn’t just cater for divers, but aims to provide events for all the family too!!
As a member of Surrey Aquanauts you could not only benefit from all of the above, but also benefit from the fact that our membership rates are the lowest in the surrounding area.
